Project description
The Great Northern Tiling Company were pleased to have played a major role in the £1.1 million refurbishment of The Arnold leisure centre and Bonington theatre in Nottingham which both faced demolition.
The council’s previous Conservative administration had planned to demolish the two facilities but the current Labour-run council voted to upgrade the leisure centre’s swimming pool and add new seating and lighting at the theatre.

Special Details
Large areas of flooring had to be levelled due to the uneven existing substrate.
Drainage falls had to be created using ‘envelope” cuts.
Our committed operations team had to be determined when tracking whereabouts of tiles from Portugal in order to meet a tight client deadline!
